Good design is thoughtful and well planned. There is never a time during my design process that the user is not at the forefront of my strategy. I find that empathy is the core to creating engaging user experiences.

Let me take you through my entire process, start-to-finish:

Initial Stages (1-2 weeks)

Phone call/video chat

Initial call to learn about your company/idea, your goals and expectations for the project.

Questionnaire

Download and email me the questionnaire entirely filled out. This will help me to better understand your needs for the project.

Proposal

Once I have all the relavent information I need I will send a proposal outlining price, timeline, etc.

Contract signed

If happy with the proposed terms I will send you a contract  to sign and return and/or I will sign your provided contract.

Want to speed up this process a bit?

Download questionnaire, fill out and return to me at rebeccamariondesigns@gmail.com. I will usually get back to you within 24 hours.

Design Stages (2-4 weeks)

Collect content

Once the contract has started I will start with collecting any relevant content you may already have, i.e. photos, style guides, etc.

User research

Understanding your user is my biggest interest. I will conduct research on the user at hand and create user personas.

Site mapping/user flows

Once I have a clear understanding of your user I will start constructing the architecture of the site.

Wireframes

Next I will create wireframes utilizing the information/strategy from the prior two stages. Desktop and mobile versions will be created to ensure optimal experience on all devices.

UI

I will then add all the visual design and UI aspects to bring the design to life! This stage will be all about the colors, iconography, typography, illustrations and interactions.

Development Stages (1-3 weeks)

Webflow site build

Woohoo! You have approved the designs that have been thoughtfully planned out and delivered. Now it’s time to build out the code.

Site transfer*

This step is only if you need your site hosted on another CMS such as WordPress or Shopify. Although, I recommend hosting with Webflow for easier/efficient site updates.

Launch site

Hallelujah! The time has finally come to get your site live and show the world what your company/product have to offer.

I'm intrigued. Do you have a history of working well with clients/colleagues?

“Rebecca did a great job delivering a mobile friendly microsite built on Webflow. It was easy to communicate with her and get timely updates. She understood the design we were looking for and based on our references and brand guidelines was able to create the microsite. We are happy with the final deliverable and will leave the door open to work with her in the future.”
—Maria Viquez; Marketing Manager, Apps Department: ServiceRocket

“Rebecca is a driven individual who takes initiative and can lead a group of people to success. If she has a goal, and or vision, she makes sure it is met by whatever means necessary.”
—Annie Chin, Partnership Creative Assistant: Golden State Warriors

“Rebecca brings a unique perspective to problems presented to her and an ambition for tackling complex design challenges.”
—Chris Svetlik, UX Instructor: General Assembly

“Rebecca is very talented. We worked together at Soul and Wolf, and in her role Bec handled a multitude of high-level design duties. However, in working with her, I found her true strengths lay in her ability to rapidly understand and communicate complex issues, multi-tasking across the digital process and armed with a positive attitude. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bec. She's a valuable team player.”
—Renato Medina, Senior Magento Developer

“A pleasure to work with Rebecca. She was responsive, has a great visual/creative eye and delivered a product better than I had hoped for.”
—Lynn Woolerdash, Author/Entrepreneur

“Rebecca is ridiculously talented and an absolute joy to work with! I had the pleasure of working with her as a freelance designer in 2018 after seeing her online portfolio, and she’s completed several flawless projects with me since then. I was particularly impressed by Rebecca's ability to handle even the toughest briefs—effortlessly. She is very creative, works very well under pressure and is excellent in meeting deadlines.”
—Nina Zidani, Product Designer
